Chris & Will's Arctic Farm : British Forzen Yogurt : Yoghurt

Our story...

chris and will as they win Make Your Mark

We started Arctic Farm back in 2007 knowing we loved frozen yogurt, but it didn't seem to be quite right; something was lacking that we thought we could change. The recipes seemed complicated, with not enough natural, fresh and British: it could definitely be done better.

So we set off to create the simplest recipe possible, questioning every ingredient from the start: chucking out the weird names and putting more of the ones we love best, like juicy fruit and chilled yogurt.

Our original name was "FroYo". After starting with an idea, we entered the National "Make Your Mark in 60 Seconds" competition with a little video, back in February 2008.

Take a look, we hope you like it. We ended up winning the competition, which was great. It's been a struggle but hopefully you'll agree that we've pretty much stuck to our roots since then.

Our victorian hand cart

After sharing our creation with friends, in the summer of 2008 we introduced it to some of the lovely people of Bath. For this we needed a proper white van and a charming Victorian frozen yogurt handcart.

We gave our product to the masses and let the people decide what they liked and what they wanted changing. Luckily they gave it a resounding "WOW" and it is from there that our Strawbs & Rasps was born. Delivering it to you was the obvious next step...

Since then, we've been working extra hard, particularly on our Mango variety. We've been trying to source the right ingredients and making sure that it's blended to perfection.

Overall, we hope that you like our frozen yogurt and if not we hope that you will suggest to us how we can do it better (ivegotanidea@arcticfarm.co.uk). And if you haven't tried it, give it a whirl.
